Our new FurBaby!

Last week my hubby finally found someone close that had a litter of Doberman pups for sale after searching for months :D This baby will supposidly be my hubbies but we all know she will end up being my baby She is the little red girl and is so precious! She comes home in a little over a week, I will post more pix when she finally gets home
My hubby is the one picking her name and he is having a hard time, any suggestions?

Oh I love her! My best friend has always had Dobermans as long as I can remember, they are awesome family pets. Can't think of a name but I'm sure your hubby will come up with something. Congrats.




I had to add make sure you keep your kits in a safe place once the pup is home. Could be a disaster lol

April, those puppies are so cute! Years ago, my neighbors had a doberman named Michelob (Mick) for their favorite beer. Their other dog, a basset hound; was named Winston for their favorite cigarette! Mick was so smart, he could open the child guard latch on the chain link gate. Winston would waddle over to my house to visit my dog and I would walk him home. Mick would just stay in his yard and act innocent, like I wonder how that gate got opened?

I like Ruby too but hubby already dissed that one :( If I were naming her she would be Lola but hubby hates all my suggestions I'll run cinnamon, merlot and brandy by him and see if he likes them. I don't think he will like cinnamon cause he is Chinese and has the chinese accent so that one may be a little hard for him to say...

Sandy, I will be sure to keep kits up. I have a 4 yr old bully so I already keep my kits out of doggy reach but this one I will have to be sure to keep them in a Cuppord in my room so that she won't be able to get to them cause she's gonna be a big puppy and able to reach a bit higher than my bully can

My mom adopted a dog from the SPCA a few years ago who is red and her name is Lucy. We knew it was based on Lucille Ball because she was there with her brother named Desi. :D

Congrats April, She is a sweetie, I love them little red girls, mine is wild but she is my baby still. I wish I would have known you were looking I could have helped. We are hoping my little red girl is prego, we should know for sure the end of the month if she is she will be due October 29th. Keep your fingers crossed.

Names, HUM!!!! Mine is named Autumn. I liked Reba also.

He didn't tell me he had been searchning all that time until he found her I wish I had know or I would have contacted you and I will keep my fingers crossed for your little red!!!
