New Class Schedule!!! NEW 2012!!

Talking about the preemie kits, I am in for that class but can't find where the email is with the code so I can buy the kit from Sandie. I've bought about 8 e-books lately and can't find them all and since the preemie class is first I really want to get the kit on it's way. Can Lara or someone else in the class please send me the code so I can order it? I made an order through Sandie tonight and remembered after about this class. PayPal isn't listing what has been bought on their invoices like they used to anymore either which I am not happy about. I used to be able to go and check there to see just what checked with my list now I can't. The new store here has it, but only the most recent buys I have made and I don't know if I can check anywhere else to see my other purchases to check with my lists. I like to double check everything so I don't buy double things I don't need. But besides that, I would appreciate getting the code so I can get the preemie kit for the class. Thanks!!!

The Olive skintone eBook says the class will be June 15, 2012 but it's not listed here. Will that class be held? And which kit will be used?

I think this skintone will be fairly easy, even for beginners.

OHHHH, she's so pretty!!!! Wrinkled up tiny thing! I might have to make sure I save the monies for that class!!! We will learn the entire process right? All the stuffing, weighting, rooting, everything right?

Oh, yeah, Karen, I did notice a color difference in the names.

If you go to the home page of the forum and scroll all the way down, you'll see the color legend and what the colors mean.

For real, get that strawberries and cream eBook before this class and you'll be more ready with knowing the terms Lara uses, etc, too.

I haven't used all of Lara's ebooks I bought yet but so far I love the Strawberry and Cream skintone the best

I'm just currently in a position where I have to be sure of my costs. Unless I get this job in the summer, then I'll have money to burn!! Burning stuff is fun!!!! (metaphorically speaking).

I don't think we know just yet. You sound like me. I must budget, plan and use layaway whenever possible.

Technically Karen, I've been out of work for 5 years now!!! Since April 2007! I may actually have a potential job opportunity after the semester and within the field so my fingers are super-duper crossed!
But everyone needs a hobby or other escape from life in general. I feel like I've tried all the other hobbies and I've wrapped back around to this one and I'm very hopeful that it will work out for me and be that niche I've been looking for.

The kit will be $59.99 for class members.

I want to do the February class. I do not have a premie kit but have 3 kits and a ton of paints. I do prefer air dry paints as the paint thinner makes my hands break out. I have tried the Genisis and Reborn paints and they caused me problems. Dianna Effner uses JoSanjos acrylic paints and does wonderful work. Can I use them instead?

I am new to the forum and have been reborning for almost 2 yrs although I still have a lot to learn and wondered if I could join in your classes please to learn the different skin tones and techniques for the different nationalaties i.e Italian asian etc, and also toddler and older baby techniques. Im looking forward to being an active member of the group. I look foraward to your reply.

You can use any BB kit you want. We'll be doing two different types, obvious and not so obvious.

I know that the Vampling class isn't until August but I'm getting my dolls ready for all the classes and I have all but this one. I assume that the BB baby has to have an open mouth but I don't want to go with anything obvious. I was thinking Raine, he reminds me of what the vampire Lestat would look like as a baby. Would I be able to use him since his mouth is only slightly open?

Susan, you can use any BB kit you want to. Remember, we're doing two kinds and your choice whether to add fangs or not. Whatever you like, is what you should use.

I've seen people use closed mouth kits that they add teeth to anyway. If done right, it has an interesting effect and it works.

I thought people might like to see some examples of reborn vampires.

The class won't be taught to look like either one of these dolls, though. Ours will still look like real babies(to an extent), even the obvious vampire.

Yes, our fangs will be the eye teeth fangs. After all, its a vampling not a spider! I just looked at my Rain and her mouth is perfect!

Really, I think we can make teeth on just about any sculpt. I have seen them added on closed mouth babies, with them just sticking out a little bit. In the new issue of Discovering Dolls Magazine, there were some really cute baby vampires in there.

Lacey Michelle of Dark and Twisty Reborns makes some excellent vampires, they're not gorey, just goth. Looking at hers might be great inspiration for those of us taking the Vampling class. She has some fangs on closed mouth babies. http://www.laceymichelle.com/

Which class is using a Cradle kit, and which one? Lara mentions it in the quote above and I don't recall a class with one. I have several of them, but would really like to know which one is needed so I make sure it is left untouched before the class.

The Advanced Peaches and Cream used the Cradle kits, I don't think there are any upcoming classes that will use them.
