Yes, just ordere the classes through the store when teh sale starts, then you can buy the kits from me at a discount separately. I will just be selling the Lui San kits, and possibly the kits for the Strawberry/Princess. All kits can be purchased $10 off through dollsbysandie, but you will need a special code for each class kit.

You do know you can get the petite size jar, you don't have to buy a full jar of every color.

The classes are held here in the forum in its own section that isn't visible to anybody who is not in the class. If you can follow directions, you'll do fine.

That way everyone will have them at least 2 weeks before class starts.

Noe will be really great for the class, any of the real effects are good , not sure if you are considering the contest. You don't have to and many don't. Its totally up to you.

Is this Noe Wasnjuk the Noe that was used in Lara's first class???? If it is, where can I get himplease???? I couldn't afford him back then and have wanted him ever since!!!! I would really appreciate knowing where I can get him.

Just a thought ... I know it would be a stretch for a lot of us but any chance we could use the BB/Donna Rubert toddlers for the Princess class? Aside from the size of them and getting the rooting done, I think they would be a real blast to sew for as a princess. Be a lot easier to get details for their clothing, imo.

You can use any doll kit you want for the class but only the class kits can enter the contests. I realize you may be requesting that we use BB kits for the strawberries and cream/princesses class but I believe Lara may have another idea. Remember we do have the Advanced Toddler class, also. Dunno what kits we'll be using for that one, though.

I know ... was just thinking it's far enough away maybe things could be switched around if others were interested. I'd just rather dress a princess that's not a baby ... but if I'm doing the class I want to be able to do the contest also.

It was just a thought. A drugged up, I-finally-caught-the-creeping-crud-the-grandkids-had, sort of thought.

You guys are funny. I do think I have my heart set on using Paris for my princess. I wouldn't want to do 2 toddlers in a row. Remember the princess part of the Advanced Strawberry and Cream Class, is just for the contest. The lessons don't have anything to do with princesses. And I don't think it needs to be Disney princess either. I'm thinking Renaissance princess would be amazing, too. It should make for a very interesting contest will all those pretty outfits!!!!

Maybe we can use BB toddlers for the Toddler class. I always hesitate to use BB now because they don't have specific vinyls. It's hit or miss on what they have in stock.

That being said, we could use the neutralizing from the vampling class to neutralize whichever vinyl you get "stuck" with. I think I'm just starting to hate all their vinyl. Sorry, folks, I am just NOT a BB fan.

I was really hoping for a really cute Toddler(24+ inches) that WASN'T BB for the advanced toddler class. More sculptors are making them now and it would be nice to explore another sculptors work, IMO.

Doll Dreams has lots of toddlers, decent prices, and Linda gives us discounts, too.

I like Kathy Swialkoski, I'd LOVE to reborn her. Then, if she didn't sell, she'd become my portrait baby/toddler. (I'm not super thrilled with BB's toddlers.)

Paris is made by Adrie Stoete and yes, Sandie has her. When you go to Sandie's site, click on the kits then click Adrie Stoete kits. You'll see her there.

Of course I have seen Paris, she is gorgeous!!!! It will be a pleasure to reborn her!!!! When can we get the code for the discount, or is Lara offering her this time too? I would like to get her soon if I can and I have paid for her class. Not a biggie if the time isn't right, but I sure do look forward to her class!!! Pamela, Lara hasn't made a decision on what kit or type of kit we'll be using. When she knows for sure what we're doing for that class, she'll let us all know.

Doll Dreams has some dolls titled "Special Value Doll Kits", and there are several of Adries earlier toddlers for $85, a very good price for her quality IMO. They have Celeste, Kenia, Mei-Ling, Natalie, and Iris, all for that low price. I really like Mei-Ling, and a couple others and really have to think about getting them at such a good price. Just thought others mght like to know. Of course there are other kits in this category, totalling 36 including those mentioned, but since we were talking about toddlers, I thought it might be of some interest. I will have to come back here more often. I don't know why I haven't shopped here before!!!!

While the Real Effect vinyl would be the right base for this class, the better class would be the Just Born class. Those painting instructions are for a full term newborn.

This class is really for the preemie look. It does get confusion because there is the preemie size - which is a small size newborn. Then the preemie baby isn't full term. If you look at the Julie and Mavie kits - they are skinny! Only those last two kits and the Wosnjuk 10 inch mini-babies are permitted for the contest.

I regard it as her most detailed class and I loved the Teddy Stoete that I painted for it.

Correction. Julie and Mavie Woznjuk and the 7 inch Gudrun Legler kits are eligible for the contest.
