| Can we make suggestions or give ideas for what we'd like to see as far as classes? I'd love to see a Native American/American Indian class offered. I'm not sure if it'd be possible, but I'd love to see a class that featured adding to your baby with Primo type clay, for example adding elf/fairy ears or perhaps horns, tails, etc. for some fantasy babies...

| Rachel, Lara already has a thread where people have been making suggestions for classes. Native American Indian was among the suggestions. Here is the thread:

Don't get upset, am just pointing out that there is a thread that you can add your voice to. The more who ask the more chance of getting.....lol.

| Rachel, I'm not totally positive but I think Lara may be going over doing the fairy ears in the Fairy Class. If she doesn't, I'll add to it with that information. A lot of the moderators are really good at coming up with other methods to do things as well as a lot of the students. We all teach and learn around here. | |

| Like, in the fairy class she might have a section where she says something like "if you don't have a fairy doll, and wish to make pointed ears, here's how you can do it..." sort of thing? That'd be awesome. I've worked with Primo & Sculpey a lot, but never with a reborn doll...I wouldn't want to mess up, so some pointers would be great!

Yes, I will be making ears to add to a sculpt. The sculpt we have, has fairy ears, but if you are using a different kit, or need for a later baby, you will know how...of course, that's if I figure out how...lol... No, just kidding, I will.

| Awesome! I think I know which class I'm going to take then! (If I can convince my husband to let me spend the money...) | |

| Nothing needed outside the clay!! Just shape the top of your ear and put it onto your baby's ear and smooth it down and bake it. Should be done after bathing and before ANY other layers go on baby so you can match the paint. Now, something neat that Secrist did come up with is color matching paint for the clay/kit. | |

| Do you need to rough up the surface of the top of the ear before you add the pointed clay ear? Would regular reborning paints cover the differences in ear colors well enough you wouldn't notice? I've never "re-baked" Sculpey or Primo before, once it's baked...is it okay to bake it again? (For setting the Genesis paints.)

No need to rough it up but if you are concerned about adhesion, you can use liquid sculpey to use as a glue. Yes, the regular genesis should be able to cover it well enough without noticing they are different and yes, you can rebake the sculpey since our temps for setting GHSP isn't very hot.

| This is all very interesting Karen! I have always wondered how you blend the clay ear to the regular ear so that it looks like it is all one piece. | |

| I rebaked it several times while making the umbilical cord in the Just Born Class...no problems. | |

| That's good to know, I love Primo clay, but always was afraid to re-bake it because it says to never over bake. I guess a little at a time is okay.
