2012 REAL Christmas Baby Swap!

I *think* I put in a card but can't remember. I boxed baby up like a week or 2 ago!!

Thank you Joy! I think all the ladies on here are so talented. I have loved every baby I have gotten out of these swaps. We have some amazing artists here!!!!

Steph.......I still think the BEST baby on the screen is the toddler little boy in your siggy! He looks so full of it! LOL

Haha yes my Caden is a little ham :) he's 16 months and already looks like a 3 year old

Just an update here ... as with both my girls 30 something years ago ... some of these babies aren't terribly eager to leave the nest. There are at least 3, maybe 4 that will be shipped out on Friday to ease shipping costs for birth moms.

Rest assured though ... all are done and just waiting for exactly the right time to start their journeys!

And can I comment again on how stunning all these babies are? So much love and talent go into their creation it's to me, what the true meaning of Christmas is ... giving and receiving with generous hearts filled with love.

A new mommy is expecting an arrival today. Baby is out for delivery! I'm so nervous. I hope she adores baby as much as I do.

Ugh...the postman left a tag to pick up a parcel at the post office, but not until tomorrow. I sure hope it's not my new baby having to lay there all night. I can't even pick the package up until after work. It's going to be a long wait!

I did the same think that Linda did... I got her all boxed up and realized I hadn't packed a card saying who the package was from. Luckily I hadn't shipped yet so I got a card and that is what I used as the shipping lable!
So watch your packages closely... if you are my swapee... your card is on the OUTSIDE of your package!!!

OHHHHHH!!~ These pains are getting terrible!! Still on bedrest, and doing wqell. This stupid foot of mine, is just (hopefully) healing along. I will know for sure on Monday. Hoping to get the stitches out for the last time, and never needing them again No more pain in the foot.....but still a lot of swelling in my toes, which I think is kinda cute.....since normally they look so boney Sitting here.....waiting on my baby.....reminds me of the 20 weeks I had to spend in the hospital on total bedrest with my twins. It still sucks as bad And I am not a patient, patient. Looks like Im going to be a little overdue on this one....which means, my baby will be healthy, and thats all that matters to me

I got to pick up the package. Now need to wait for class to be over so I can open it. I'm pretty sure it's my baby.

Linda... on our way to Lancaster in October we were on the PA turnpike and passed the exit to Old Forge... just a few hours down the road.... lol
Funny because if I travel in the opposite direction I go by Old Forge too... we have one here in NY... lol

I have had such horrible experiences this fall with the mail being stolen from our mailbox that if I have to send someone to the PO to get baby then I will just say Thankyou! It has been really bad. I had two Ebay purchases stolen, and another from dollfan. Paypal and Ebay took only a week to refund my money which I was glad of, AND even more so glad that they didn't punish my sellers even to take my money from their accounts. I was very vocal on that one because they did it all perfectly! Postal inspector is involved. I am not the only "victim" on our route. Our poor mail person is so worried!

Tina.....I am so glad that you aren't hurting! I have been so afrad that not only were you on bedrest bu that you were in pain too. Glad to hear you are just dying of boredom! LOL.......... As I said before I have spent a lot of time on bdrest with pregnancies...not fun! But at those times at least I knew where the kid was and it was quiet! roflmbo!!!!
I am sure we will all become Mommies when we are supposed to.....I am sure of it!

This was my first swap, but definitely not my last! I really enjoyed participating. I'm loving seeing all the new babies. I'm loving my new baby girl! I'm glad she went to the post office. Even though I had to go pick her up, it's better than someone else getting ahold of her.

Is hoping that the pink slip I got in the mail today is my new baby!!!! Labor is getting very intense, and I still have to wait about an hour, for my postlady to come back to the post office lol

This little one is still not ready to meet his/her mama. I was hoping baby would arrive today but no. I have my mother in law coming tomorrow to check the mail as we are going to see my mom and sister. We will be home that night but I don't want to take any chances!!

I cant wait until my partner gets her baby! There should be a new mommy on December 17th!!!

My mother inlaw is checking my mail today. Hoping to come home to a special delivery!!! I am so excited!!!

Crossing my fingers that my partners baby arrives today. The estimated arrival time on the tracking says December 17 monday, but the tracking has not updated since arrival at the post office the very first day. Im probably just as anxious as the new mommy lol

Anxiously awaiting an arrival....maybe one of the above is for me??? This is as bad as waiting to go into labor was! Unfortunatly, now I walk like a duck and it's not a baby in me anymore...just alot more of ME! LOL! Quack Quack!

Me Me! I am waiting.. I have chewed my nails to the nub. Now I have to learn to use Pops Camera. Mine broke..Mama want a new one for CHristmas...so anyway I am waiting, not very patiently but I know I will be thrilled. ..I'm drumming my nails onthe table. I'e going to rest and knit tonight. Maybe a nice 4 wheel drive will induce labor...so excited....waiting waiting. LOL!

I remember my dad always reminding me "Patience is a virtue!". I also always remember wanting to smack him every time he said that!!! But all the babies are on the way, just a reminder that several didn't get shipped until Friday because of financial timing, so they should all be arriving very soon!!

Funny thing, I was making a sweater set not knowing if I was getting a boy or girl and what size my baby would be and don't you know it, the sweater fits him perfectly!!!
