mothers day swap

I put my swap partner's baby in the mail this morning. Someone's labor has begun. I hope it is not too hard or too long. Considering the way things have been with them lately.

This is fun, isn't it?!! It seems strange not having the baby I created around the house anymore because I've spent the last 3 months doting on that little one! lol But soon, we'll all have somebody of our own coming! Who will it be??

Yeah I can't wait for my partner to get her baby. It was bittersweet to see that baby go. My mom said it was the best baby I ever made. So I am excited to see what the new mommy thinks :) I do have to say that I wish I had the talent many of you all do to make clothes. Some things I've seen you all do are gorgeous

I wish I could make the clothes too! I used to sew a lot - now I look at patterns or try to figure out how to make what's in my head, and I get totally confussed. I wish I could crochet too!

I'll have a hard time letting go of "my" baby too! I've really bonded with this one!

All the outfits are gorgeous indeed. I would love to sew again but I have no room! lol With all my reborning supplies all over the dining area there is no room for anything else. Crocheting? Oh I wish I knew. I only know how to make a basic scarf and baby hat. It is not for me. My mom used to and her mom did but me? Nope. God bless all you talented ladies.

Yeah I can knit a basic scarf, but booties seem wayyy too difficult for me.

Oh my I sew but can not crochet or knit to save my life. As a matter of fact I have to hem a wedding dress this weekend and then start sewing crystals on it. She bought one so I did not have to start from scratch. Lordy I would not get that done with all going on by the wedding June 2.

I don't know about the rest of you but I feel like I am on pins and needles. I hope she likes it!

Debora I am always on tenterhooks when I send out a baby hoping the new mum is happy with them.
I also had a heck of a time letting go mine too as it was the same sculpt as my own dream baby so that made it doubly hard for me.

I did not put down a sculpt for dream baby. I have my Libby and when I go looking gosh I can get sensory overload! I made it harder I am afraid on my person. Good luck to all. This is my first and was so worried something would go wrong and I did my baby as soon as I got her and she has been in a special place for months. Do we wait for Mother's Day to open them?

Since the last mail day is May 4th, I sure hope it wouldn't take until the 13th for someone to get their baby. I know I couldn't wait to open my baby until Mother's day!

I wish we had magic and could wiggle our noses or butts or some other body part and the new mommas" have them in their arms. Oh my, I got a mental picture in my head of all of us holding our babies and wiggling our butts until it magically disappears to reappear in the new mommas' arms. All in our own houses. Would that not be a sight to behold!

I checked my partners baby is in her state.

I tried checking on mine, but USPS's tracking system was down when I tried. I'll have to try it again.

Edit: Just checked: Out For Delivery. Somebody's baby is about to be born!!!

Now i guess maybe she will get hers tomorrow while I am at work and on Tuesdays we never have time to eat much less check forum. Maybe it is will be an unusual day.

You must be on pins and needles! I hope you get a chance to check the internet to see if your partner did get her baby and posted pics.
