We found out Wednesday that Aila is going to be having a little BROTHER in June ... which was WONDERFUL news ... My "adopted daughter", Chelsey, has been having the most horrible month ... she has been dating Aila's daddy for 3 years now, and time after time, he cheats on her ... she always takes him back, but a few weeks ago, she found out that while SHE works, (he has already 9 kids with 7 DIFFERENT moms) and he does NOT work, he has been bringing ladies to her home at night (she works nights at a Casino) so there are 5 ladies all together that he has been "seeing", putting her baby to bed at night and sleeping with this JERK (excuse my words) in HER bed ... so, now 5 months pregnant, she has kicked him out for the last time ... (I PRAY SHE HANGS IN THERE) And to make things that much worse, she found out that 2 of the 5 ladies are ALSO pregnant ... it's just a mess, BUT that isn't really why I am asking for prayers ... after her sonogram Wednesday ... she had to visit the Dr ... in the sono, they could not find the Spine where it connects to the tail bone ... and something about the ventricles in his brain are dilated ... SOOO not looking good for a healthy baby boy ... next week on Thursday she is going for a Level 2 sonogram and they will be able to check better to see and at that time they will schedule an amniocentesis if needed to gather more information at that time ... I DO know that many many times regular ultrasounds do or don't show things "wrong" when, in the end, everything is Fine, so we are praying for this outcome ... the Dr thinks he has "Spina Bifida" or Down's Syndrome, or may be as simple as just being developmentally delayed so this week has been stressful and will still be until we have more concrete answers next week ...
sorry if anyone thinks I gave too many details, but I need to vent ... I don't have anyone here to vent to ... thank you gals! I have never personally been in the situation she is in ... but I don't understand why she keeps taking him back ... what made things really even worse, was that the day she confronted him and kicked him out, he beat the crap out of her ... she ended up in the hospital overnight that night ... she won't press charges, I just don't know what I can do to help her or what advise to give ...

Sounds so bad, sometimes when we think its really bad around us we have to go on and pray for the best and turn our focus to our lord who filters everything.

Linda it is horrible!! hitting a pregnant women I would put his sorry for the word! ASS in jail!!
I am praying for a good result in next check for her!!
And that she can handle wich ever result in a good way!
And it must bee so hard for you to as a mother to her!!

Thanks so much, Ladies ... it has been an emotional week already and the wait is kinda hard, but maybe with enough FAITH AND PRAYER things will be alright ... I honestly don't know if she could take it if he has really bad birth defects or if he were to not make it at all ... she is so down right now ...
Thanks for understanding ... I can't even talk to my husband about it ... all he says is "They aren't right, those sonograms can't show that stuff" He's definitely in denial ...

I'm sorry to hear all the bad that has been happening for Chelsea. I hope she sticks to her guns and doesn't let that idiot back into her life. I pray that the baby will be born healthy and strong. My sister was a part of an online forum once and a couple got an ultrasound that the doctor was certain showed spina bifida. He recommended that they abort the baby, but they refused. When it came time for the baby to be born, it was healthy and normal, just had a patch of pretty thick hair growing on his backside! All I could think was WOW, that baby could have lost his life just because of some stupid hair. grrrr Thank God the parents didn't abort him. loveyou!
