4. Babies may only be dressed in an unadorned onesie in a solid color,
preferably white or pastel. That means no logos, art work, etc. Babies
should have no extra accessories, such as pacifiers, booties, or hair

Very happy to say my Naked Baby is finished!

Thankfully the last few days have been cooler and I have been able to paint and root without sweating all over my baby

No, a third category is not necessary. Its no big deal if I miss out on one contest. Rules are set and they shouldn't be changed.

Denise, the pictures can be whatever size is easiest for you to send. If they are too big I can resize them very easily!

Ashley, I would prefer a onesie but if you have a white Tshirt with nothing on it, that and a diaper would be fine also. The reason for the onesie is so that it's an even playing field. And a bit more anonymity.

So I'm just dying to know, since we're past the photo deadline...we're there a lot of entries I hope??? & I don't mean to bug ya Sharon, I'm sure you've got a lot going on! I just wondered how the voting will work between the 2 catagories of rooted & painted hair? Will there be a top 3 overall or a top 3 in each catagory? (I thought I'd read that'll it will depend on how many babies were entered?) Sorry for all the questions, but like I had told ya before, this is the 1st contest I've ever entered & I'm so eager to see everyone else's babies too.

Actually when I picked the date, I thought it might be too close to the Christmas hustle and bustle so I'm glad you ladies wanted it pushed back.

That is so awesome Sharon! But will there still be an overall winner? ie. like the top few painted vs. the top few rooted in another poll? & will the voting still run for a week? Just wondering when the polls will close...& if those will be the "final" results when they do close? (Sorry I'm not trying to make this more difficult, especially since there we're so many great babies! I've just never entered a competition before so I'm not sure how things totally work.)

I thought about having a head to head (no pun intended lol) painted vs. rooted, but there are a couple of ladies wanting to get their babies listed on Ebay etc so if we did run a 2n contest it would have to be a really short one. Like maybe 36 hours to vote and be done sort of thing.

Any other ideas?

IMO, if you ran a rooted versus painted, the rooted would win anyway. Most people prefer rooted hair no matter how well the baby is painted.

Yup, Karen has a point! thats why I asked in another post if we were to look at just the skintone or skin and hair. I agree rooting would win I think.
