Hi my name is Bev hoping to figure this out

Hi all I am excited to be here. I started this hobby Sept. the plan was to make one for each one of my daughers/inlaws, and granddaughters. Well one baby I was hooked. My first baby went into a memory box that my daughter miscarried. I have not had anyone to help or talk to so was excited when I found this class. I am how ever starting to panic because I didn't sign up for the class till yesterday so I have not gotten my kit yet and it will take a week for it to get here. So I will be way behind all of you but will be reading as you all go and post. Now about myself. I have 5 children ranging in ages from 36 to 13. I have 5 grandchildren and one foster grandchild. We do special needs foster care and have one foster son that is 26 but mentally is about 2years. We live in the country on an acerage. I have 6 yorkie dogs and one golden retriever. We have been happily married for 37. God has truely blessed us with a lovely family. Family is very important in our lives. I have more hobbies than most people but love it all. That pretty much tells you who I am.

Hi, nice to meet you Bev :D wow, you do have a big family and lots of little furbabies! Don't worry about not starting your kit yet, I sometimes wait until the weekend and then I spend a big chunk of time doing a few lessons all in one go, you will have plenty of time to get it finished. Which sculpt have you picked for the class? I will be doing Li-Hua as I couldn't resist after seeing Lara's one :lol:

Li-Hua is so cute and I was trying to find her but could not find her so I picked Baby Kyoko. I wish there was somewhere closer to order from but nothing here is close so I have been ordering from Doll by Sandie. She has been really good at getting things to me but because of the distance it takes a week usually to get here. I am so glad to hear I not get totally lost not getting started right away. I think the hardest part is seeing the lessons and not having a baby to do. thanks for letting me know you have done it that way it does help.

Welcome to our group. Don't worry about starting class late, I'm sure there is plenty of time to catch up. Your family sounds wonderful. I to have alot of furbabies 4 dogs, Llasa, Carine, Yorkie and Silky and 7 cats, they are my babies too. Sorry to hear about your daughters miscarriage, I'm sure the baby you made will always be very special. I actually learned to reborn to make memorial babies, they are my true passion. Years ago my son was born still at 22 weeks and in the past 5 years I have met so many ladys on the internet that have lost children so I needed a way to reach out and comfort them, my reborns offer a little comfort to their aching hearts.

It's great to have you here, would love to see pics of your family. I love large families and I'm amazed at your kindness with your foster son, how incredible that must be.
