Here is a good refresher for you to make ahead and drink when thirsty. This is really good in the summer when it is hot out, but is good all year and has detoxifying actions too. (But not Laxative, not at all)
2 qt water (Can be tap or filtered or bottled)
1 lemon, sliced
1 C cucumber slices
1 bunch fresh mint leaves ( should be available in the grocery store if you don't have them growing in your herb garden)
Put the water in a pitcher, add the lemon and cucumber slices. Slightly crush or tear the mint leaves to release the flavor
chill thoroughly
Strain and drink as you like
