Sad news in the dolly community

I am not sure if some of you know, but I woke this morning to news that Prototype Artist Kat Magistri has passed away. Let us please keep her Husband Rob, her children, and grandchildren in our thoughts and prayers. This has been devastating to find out, and I am not even sure what to do with myself right now. Kat was a wonderful friend to me, and I am going to miss her tremendously.

So sorry for the loss of your friend Tina  (hugs)  I didn't know her though.  (Im not very connected in the dolly world).  I looked her up
she was a wonderful reborn artist and a very pretty girl - she looks so young.  Did she have young children?

I saw numerous posts and my heart hurt for all that will miss her. I agree she did look so young. I didn't know her personally but from the posts it seems like she touched many people. Does anyone know what happened?

Yes, it's very sad. I feel horrible for her family and friends.

I think she is a year or two older than me. Most of her children are all grown. Her youngest son is 17 I believe, and has type 1 Diabetes. This has been a huge shock to the doll community, especially for the ones closest to her. As far as what happened, I cannot say as the family wants their privacy.
