I will not be around for a couple days. Hubby went into the hospital today and they admitted him. He may need surgery tomorrow. We will wait and see.

AA Contest will not start until Monday maybe, but all submissions still need to be in to me by Sat , Jan 15th at noon. I'll get it organized when I can.

It is time to submit pictures for the AA Contest. I will take them from today until Jan 15th Noon EST. Please submit 3 pictures of your AA Baby. One full body picture, one close up, and one hair picture.

The 15th is Saturday, not Friday. And this is picky but imp to me. If the dates have changed I will live with it....but if you just made a bit of an error then I am breathing much beter.

I need to know if it is indeed Friday or as it was announced a week ago that it would be Saturday. Please let us know asap.

Hope everything is going okay with Lara's husband and family, wish there was something we could do or if anyone comes up with anything please let me know. Lara we are all thinking and praying for your husband and family.

Anyone want to babysit the kids for a few hours?? OK, just kidding. My mom is taking them tonight, so I will try to get caught up on emails and such later. Maybe get back to rooting my Walter.

John is still in the hospital. The doctors never say anything....they still won't let him eatr. He said a dr was in this morning and said something about Tuesday. He just really wants to come home. It's hard on the kids...they miss him. This was supposed to be a 4 day weekend for him. He had off Friday and Monday and we were going to do some things with the kids...planned on bowling on Monday. I hope he comes home soon... we all just miss him. Sometimes I don't think people get better in the hospital just cuz they are so miserable being there.

It's like when you are in the hospital after having a baby. How are you supposed to rest and heal when there is someone waking you up every hour to take blood or check your vitals.

Lara I a sorry that your plans with the family have gotten messed up but even more sorry that John is still in the hospital!!!! I would gladly take the children if I live near by! Sounds like you have your hands full in many directions!

I will continue to remember you, John, the children and your mother in prayer! Hope he won't have to stay much longer and come back home to your loving family! You are so right about lack of rest !!!!!!!

So glad he is okay...sorry he is miserable! And then that makes you miserable too! Hope he is up to being released soon!

Looks like it will be a long stay...I am so sad. They are not feeding him at all, and they will redo the CT scan on mon or tues to see if there has been any improvement with the antibiotics. If there is, they will then do some more invasive testing to try to repare any damage that they see or to drain the absess, if there is one. We won't have a diagnosis until they can test, and they can't test unless the infection is fixed. Seems like big circle.

My mom is coming over at 4:30 today to watch some of the Steeler game, then she will take them for the night. I'll try to get some stuff done tonight and get caught up on a few things.
Right now, I need to get the kids lunch, then we are all going to head to the hospital.

If babysitting is out of the questions, I would also enjoy someone to come over and clean the house...do some laundry...knock some of the massive icicles off my house...lol...you know, stuff like that. Would you believe I forgot to feed the dog on Friday? Geesh....poor Maci.

You could always send the kiddos down here to stay with us. I am sure I could find plenty for them to do. Sometimes it takes a while to figure out what is going on, we will continue to have John and your family in our prayers...there are so many coming your way - I am sure it will definitely speed up the process The antibiotics should help quite a bit, do they have him on any steroids for the inflammation??

Don't worry about us, we'll do fine and everything here can wait. If I were you, I would take Walter to the hospital and root, root, root.

Oh how we all wish we were closer so we really could do the physical things for you. I can cook, clean and babysit like a wiz in an emergency. In the mean time we will pray for you and yours. Don't you even think about classes or contests or a thing till everyone recouperates including YOU. We will wait. KIsses and hugs to the kids, big hug for you and smooch that hubby for us....just don't catch anything. LOL
