any advice on how to clean doll hair?

Hi, so I just got a new doll the other day, and I've washed her hair twice, and put detangler in it. The problem is that her hair smells like must or maybe it is cigarette smoke? whatever it is the smell will not come out. I've done everything, but nothing seams to work. She is not a reborn, so she has a different type of hair, but I still can't fully submerge her in water to give her a bath. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thankyou

Hoping someone  knowledgeable with your problem sees your post soon and can help you out with this,  as I don't have a clue!!!   So sorry this happened to you!!! 

I think most of us might know what to do with mohair, but they will need to know the type of hair to help you the best.
