New Baby WIP! Head baked! 4/29

Here is a new sculpt I've been working on lately!     Not much time for sculpting with school, but every so often I work on her.   I've been trying out the Secrist sculpting form that April sent me. She still needs some tweaking, but she's almost ready to bake!    Please excuse the dirty clay (as always), but what do you think?  I'd love any tips or advice!

I've been working so hard on the ears. . .still not quite where I'd like them, but I am getting better a little at a time.

Ok, so I made some adjustments.  She has a tiny tongue now!  Do you like this better?

HEAD BAKED!

I made some last adjustments to the mouth and made the tongue bigger.    There was one tiny crack, but it mostly disappeared after I ran cold water over it.

WOW!!! Izzy, your really coming along with this sculpting. Looking great. Keep up the great work

Wow Izzy, this is a baby I would buy! Your ears are certainly geting there. My only suggestion is that they are placed a bit high. A babies ears at the top are normally in line with the slit of the eye, and the bottom in line with the line where the lips join. This baby is going to be a really cutey. x Fay

Fay, I don't know if I can do much about the ears because I'm using the secrist form which has place holders for the ears, but I can try.   

I added a little more clay to the brow line, and I'll do a little more tweaking later, so I'll post new pics soon!

Maybe when I get a little better (and older!) I'll make a kit. For now, I think I need to practice a bit more.
