| I will post many pictures but it will not be able to convey the beauty of my baby, her goodies or my happiness. Thanks so much, Sharon, I love her so much!!!   Look at this lovely box!!!   Wow! | You're so welcome April and I'm so happy and pleased that you like her! I left it to you to name her and for the first time I don't have a wip nickname for her like I have for some of my other creations. lol (The first swap I did last Christmas I dubbed the baby Marmalade because her vinyl was so orange! lol) Funny story about the box, though. I saw it on sale at Joann's for a pittance so I decided what better way to ship the baby for Mother's Day. Of course, as usual for some of my more inspired ideas ... vision =/= simplicity. In other words, having packed up the baby and her goodies, I got out my roll of drawing paper (from Ikea, makes great wrapping for packages, by the way) and started to wrap the box. Yeah, so inspiration apparently has a price. The price is how to wrap the pointy corners that keep tearing the paper. I cut pieces of the paper, folded them several times and taped them to the corners to pad them. Worked really well. Then I picked the box up to turn in in order to fold up the ends and ... *sigh* ... the sides where I just picked it up tore. Seriously??? So short of wrapping the whole thing in shipping tape, I just taped up the edges and hoped for the best! Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever do anything the easy way ... know what I mean?  | |

Oh oops! I guess I never read the fine print! lol But really it was so hard to decide what to send her with. I found the overalls and they fit her so perfectly! I'd already planned the crocheted outfit because I always try to add something handmade. But then I got to looking at her wardrobe and decided she really needed a dress too because she's such a pretty little girl ... Shame on me! I really will try to do better in the future! lol | |

I do know what you mean about trying to make things easier(with the box) and making them harder on yourself. I do that all the time.
