Lara needs your prayers immediately please!

Lara's husband John has to have surgery for his Crohn's disease. He's going into surgery now. Lara is on her way to the hospital. Please pray to guide the surgeon's hands and that John makes a full recovery. Please also add a prayer for Lara and the kids that they weather this setback, too.

Just heard from Lara. They are going to do another CT scan tomorrow to determine if John needs surgery and if so, that'll probably happen on Tuesday. Right now they just don't know if there is infection or not.

Let her know I am praying!!!

Praying for a positive outcome. It would be wonderful if he was completely healed, and miracles do happen. If surgery is what God has for him, I pray it fixes his problem so he can have some relief. May God bless your family, Lara and give you comfort and peace.

Actaully, surgery has been changed to the 17th. Surgeon needs 5 hour slot, and that's the first available. In the meantime, he is back on the prednisone and taking heavy painkillers. It's not easy seeing him in so much pain. I'm so mad that they can't get him in until t hen!

Prayers are needed that he does ok without me home for 4 days. This was always my fear...that he would get sick while I have to be away.

Continuing prayers, Lara. Thanks for the update and smack him upside the head for not updating me.

I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby Lara. . I will pray for him. I know the pain and frustration that this disease causes. I will be bringing my laptop, you can use it if you want to video chat with him to see if he is doing okay.

I'm so sorry to hear this bad news with both Lara's & Loretta's spouses! They say "bad things come in three's" so along with my "issues" this makes 3 dang it. So in Jesus' name I pray no other major spousal dilemmas for any & all of US R.E.A.L. peeps!

Dear Lord please protect all of us R.E.A.L. members & spouses (even mine) from the evils that are trying to steel our happiness! We give you our troubles Lord & pray for strength, guidance, healing, & Love! Please also comfort those R.E.A.L. members children that have heavy hearts over their parent's dilemmas! Give them all the strength to pull thru in those critical times ahead. I ask this in Jesus' name, so let it be done Amen!

I hate to be superstitious....but man oh man! My grandma used to say that "saying" abt. bad things coming in 3's & it always seemed to prove true! I had even thought after I read Lara's post's title "oh God, what's next" then I reached Loretta's. I know our R.E.A.L. forum group is growing w/ new ppl. all the time, but these are major problems! I'm still so thankful for everyone Ive met here! You've all helped me & with each other we'll all pull together & get threw the obstacles we're facing!

Dear Heavenly Father, I am also asking Lord, that you watch over all of our family here at REAL.... some of us are really having a hard time. We have people who are very sick, losing loved ones, and some are having spouse troubles. I ask Lord, that you watch over each and every single trouble, we gladly hand this all over to you. For we know that you are the almighty, and the great physician, and that only in our faith can we get through. I ask now Lord, that you ease Jons pain, from his Chrohns deisease, I ask that you Bless Loretta, and her hubby with the surgery he is also going through, and a very special prayer goes out, for the spouse, who is having family trouble....Lord, you are the only one who knows how to handle that. I aslo ask for the brother in law who is suffering in pain from cancer right now Lord....I ask that you bring peace, and comfort to all of the family and friends, of this man, and I also ask that if you are going to "bring him home" that you be Glorified. I am sure I have missed something, so I am adding all of the unspoken requests also, Lord, you know what is going on here........Satan is in our midst, and I rebuke him in the name of Jesus, to back off....and to leave this family alone!!!!!~ Amen

thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayer's Barry is home and doing well, I have been told to-day that his heart is badly damaged from the heart attacks, but I'm blessed I have him.

I wanted to say AMEN to those prayers and to let you know when we went by the hospital yesterday my mother in law said ok to me. She speaks so rarely and it was a huge thing. Thank you for the prayers sent our way.
