| Hello everyone, I am really excited to doing another of Lara's classes. I go by my nickname of Monki as some of you have already realized. Reborning has become a true therapeutic experience. I know there are others out there with conditions and illnesses that know exactly what I am talking about. Lara's way of doing a class is so simple and easy that it is a joy to go each day to see what our next lesson will be. Welcome to all the Newbies and hello to former classmates. I look forward to working along with each of you on this next great class. Thank you Lara for continuing these wonderful classes. | |

| Hi Monki --- I look forward to starting the new class also. Haven't taken one before. It is very therapeutic. I work fulltime and it is a pleasure to do the babies in the evenings and on weekends. I have done a few and donated some of them to Geriatric unit at the hospital that I work at. It really comforts them holding a baby. Jill | |

| Hello girls, Jill you are right about the donations. I have 2 dolls going to our local nursing home and hope to get to some smaller dolls done to donate to a local children's hospital for some terminally ill children, I'll do more for the elderly soon too. That is one of the reasons I wanted to learn the painted hair.. Lara's directions were wonderful and I feel I can probably do a full head now when I set down to do one. We only did the fringe hair in the 1st class and I really loved the look of it. You really think you are doing the giving, but when you see the look on the persons face who gets one of your dolls, you are the one that receives the greatest gift. I know you understand that feeling all too well. All you girls will love the classes.. Lara's was the first online class for me and I am really glad I chose her. I studied for a year (due to illness) before I did my first reborn.. when I saw Lara's note on BB about doing her first class I knew I wanted to do it. I love her dolls and knew no matter how much I studied different techniques and lessons, I needed that personal touch of a good teacher. Lara is that person. I can hardly wait to see everyone's finished babies, as each one is so unique. With so many different kits this time, this should really be great fun. Hugs to each of you.... :flower: | |

| Lara, believe me your lessons really did take me to another level. You can reborn a doll and achieve a nice look, then there is reborning a doll and achieving that amazing realistic look. That is what you were able to do for me. You have me on that road now (and I have so much farther to go) and I am really looking forward to learning more from you. I'll include my wonderful logo in my siggy, as I really am very proud of it and what you helped me achieve. To me, it really is more of a statement of what your lessons can do for a reborn artist. | |

Now that is a wonderful thought and all too true. I'd like to know how to got connected with the nursing home to begin with and maybe give a little direction to inspire me. When I was young they were in the 'old folks home'. I'm glad that nursery and nursing have joined with the words 'nursing home'.

| Hello Monki it is nice to have you in class again. This time around I am one of the moderators and if I can be of any help just let me know. My name is Sherry and I also took the Noe class. Didn't you just love it!!!
I have also created babies for the local nursing home. Those ladies do brighten right up when you present them with one. It is one of the greatest blessings for both!! They love the babies and you love the feeling of giving!!!!
Looking forward to what you will create this time!!!! How about first place this time?
