My next surgery

Hi ladies....just stopping in to ask for prayer for my now upcoming surgery for the right foot. I am having the doctor wait to do the second surgery on the left...because we both want to make sure it is stable while Im healing from this one Im getting ready to go through. The date is set for oct 19th.....and as Karen told me today....hopefully I will be walking by Christmas!! Now wouldnt that be cool????

I hope everything goes real well......and that you will be dancing by Christmas, if not then the New Year.....BOL, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Oh, yes, tat would be perfect if you were up and around for Christmas! I will be praying that all goes well!!!

Tina, I really feel for you! Four years ago I had both knees replaced. Somehow my doctor and darling hubby convinced me that it would be so much better doing both at once.

Took me over a year to be able to say, grudgingly, that I was glad I'd done both at once. Recovery was slower, but I only had to do it once!

You'll be walking by Christmas .... IF ... you can follow doctors orders and stop trying to be Wonder Gimp!

One down Sharon R....one to go, that is until next spring....when I have to start all over again LOL. I just have to take one surgery at a time. One day at a time, and one Prayer at a time.

Got some not so nice news today about my upcoming surgery. The doctor basically explained that there will be three surgical sites, and basically my whole foot is being reconstructed....well here we go again

Oh, ouch. Maybe you need to bring your Kameko with you again for moral support and hugs.

Unfortunately it is the case.....i had thought they got the worse one out of the way first.....and that one still needing anohter surgery as well. I will be ok, and I will be hurting for awhile.....bot Goad, and you ladies will see me through

I wonder if walking around on just the one foot after the surgery on the other one had anything to do with making it worse? But, you're right, God will get you through it, lean on Him!

Fortunately, no.......walking around on one foot didnt really make things worse....I remember him saying that one of them was going to need more correction, i just dont remember which foot LOL....Kameko has a new mommy now, so I may have to take a different one. we will see.

OH Karen....yay. I will take baby Tina hee hee ;) Althoug, my hubby will have to hold her while im having surgery....so I dont know how thats gonna go. Maybe keep mousie home from school that day
