My goodies from Becky

Thank you so much Becky for my wonderful stash of sock monkeys, mary jane and hats. Love them all and really happy we did this swap.

Firstly 2 parcels came today (I alo did a kit swap with Sherrie, and that came too) and my new baby Dippy (short for dipstick....... name suits him to a tee) wanted to help me, he decided the kit box was a good resting spot.



I opened the bacg from Becky very carefully as it was stuffed full of items and I did not want to damage any of them as I cut the bag. Firstly I see some sock monkeys........ I love these items yet tried to make one and I pitched it as far as I could throw it so naturally they were one of the first things I asked Becky to make for me.

The other thing I hate making is Mary Janes and I love them on my babies......... so I got heaps of these too....... Thanks Becky they are wonderful, a much better size than the ones I bought recently (they would fit a toddler)

Dippy decided the monkeys might be good to play with too........ I have news for him, first and last play for him.......... lol.




Thanks Becky a wonderful job indeed with your handiwork. Girls Becky even has her own label that she has stitched into the backs of the monkeys too.

Wow, they are fantastic!! I loooove sock monkeys and those colours are great! Cute little Dippy too

I saw Becky in the post office the day she mailed that and I wondered what she had packed in there, it looked really full! Now I see what was in it, I wonder how she got them all in there! Great stuff.

I'm glad that everything made it there okay and that you like them all. I just recently came up with the boy's slip on shoe pattern and decided to slip one in for you My oldest daughter saw the monkey hat and "ordered" one from me. (She's the one I wanted to do the monkey reborn for). So then my other 3 kids put in their orders, too (they are my most frequent "customers" )

Yes, I was just thinking today that I should do your R2-D2 hat. How many baby orange hats did you want?

I know I want at least two orange hats (one for Luke, one for Leia). It might be fun to have one for whomever gets my baby in the Mother's day swap too.

Here's an idea...knitted orange rattle for the reborns you sell and swap.........ya know...like a trademark!

That's kind of what my idea was, only with the hats

Well, the orange hats was my idea! But, I like the orange rattle idea too! All my babies will get a bracelet with an "orange" charm, which will also be my trademark.

Here is Jack's charm (I gave him just a leather lace bracelet to be more "manly")

How nice these are, I looked thru christmas to find some for my little grandson and this is a real stash of beautiful monkeys, cat is thinking the same thing I bet.

Oh, Lyn, you are one lucky girl! Those are the cutest monkeys and shoes! Your new tabby kitten is so adorable, I bet he is a little devil! Becky really does a nice sock monkey. I have tried to sew them, too; and gave up!

I suppose I'm "Off Topic" now - I want my Hubby to see pictures of Dippy. What a cute stripped cat - and so helpful.

Ah! I was a little confused by her question at first, too, since I'm Becky! But then I realized she was talking to Rebecca/Becky and not me

And I was getting ready to really since the bottom photo of your signature is an unreborned doll with a hat on!

Yeah, that was kinda funny...I thought she was talking to my sister Becky at first too, and not Rebecca/Becky!

I know! I went back to my siggy and thought "that isn't a sculpt", then I realized she'd quoted Rebecca/Becky (I'm actually a Rebecca, too!)
