need your prayers please

Last week my dad was taken to hospital with blood pressure of 205, the hospital did many tests and discovered he had a brain tumor and it was pressing against his brain stem. They transfered him to ST Vincents hospital and he was operated on yesterday. He was in surgery for 5 hours and recovery for 2 hours. The surgen told Mum and I it was very major surgery but he did'nt have a choice, today 1st day after surgery, we have found he hasd lost the sight in the left eye and also it has affected the whole side of his face left side. he is having trouble sallowing and can only have pureed food.

The surgen was very happy with the way dad is recovering, and said the nerve damage may recover but only time will tell.

I'am so sorry I had to rush down to melbourne to be with mum and dad and hav'nt been able to post the present, but I will do it as soon as I can.

I hav,nt got my computor and borowed this one tonight, unable to get my emails etc.

My dad is 83 years young and my mum and dad are soul mates, please pray for them both to get through this.

So sorry to hear this. Will be praying for your dad's continued healing and that God give your mom comfort & strength to get through this.

borrowed a computor again mum and I want to thank you for your prayers, dad is slowly recovering, still don;t know about his left eye, he still no sight from it but the left side of his face has come back a bit. He still has problems eating. But he is being transfered to rehab. tomorrow it is not as far for mum and I to travel to see dad, which will be a bt easyer on mum.

Just had to let you know has finally gone to rehab. this morning, he still cannot move his left eyelid so they sewed it closed. has to see the eye specialist on the 10th hoping and praying it will be ok. His voice box on the left sife is still not working they are going to do more tests at the rehab. to see what is going on.

I will be staying with mum until dad comes home and make sure they can cope. Barry my husband has gone home.
