My Mom, Linda ***UPDATE*** AT TOP

Mom passed away on Saturday. I got to be there to hold her hand. Today was the funeral. My brain is drained and I am exhausted, but I know she is in a better place. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes.

Today the home health nurse suggested that we call in hospice for my mother. She's been really ill for over 2 years with hepatitis C, kidney failure, diabetes among a few other things. Her platelets are steadily dropping and she cannot receive blood because it just goes through her spleen. She's had 7 liters of fluid taken off of her belly in the last 6 weeks and been in the hospital 3 times. Today she said she is tired and ready to go home. I don't know how long she has, but she has been critical for so long.... Please pray for her and my family. We just lost my dad last year......

Oh hunni.... she has fought for a long time, and hopefully hospice can make her comfortable for her trip home to Jesus. I will keep your mom in my prayers.

Mom won't agree to hospice care yet, so we'll see. Her caregivers are giving her great care and I am so grateful for that. I did get a few minutes with her this afternoon and my 18 year old is flying in on Thursday night which I am really excited about. I just got word that my niece is in some kind of fertility drug induced psychosis and she doesn't know who or where she is, so please say some prayers for her........ Her name is Kerrie.....

Praying for you and your family. I would let it be your mom's decision about hospice ... she will know when she's ready.

Just got a call that they could not get my mom out of bed this morning and are calling hospice in for a consult only at the moment. Should know more soon. Going over there now........

Sending prayers for you and your Mom.     

Mom was admitted to hospice yesterday. It was a hard day for everyone, so please keep the whole family in your prayers. Mom is totally disoriented and almost non-communicative. They set up a hospital bed. Yesterday they weren't able to get her out of her own bed. I just pray that she is comfortable....

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom and niece. You will all be in my prayers for hope and peace. It's so hard to have loved ones going through tough times.

Good news regarding my niece. I got a call this morning and my sister said that prayers have been answered. She is much better this morning. Regarding my mother, they couldn't get her out of bed yesterday, so hospice was called and Mom is entering under their care. I just pray that it is swift and that she has peace and is pain free.........

Soooooo soooooooooo sorry for your loss Terri. So many mixed emotions, I know them too, when my Mom and Dad passed. Glad that they are not suffering, sad that you will miss them..
