Answer to prayer... my granddaughter was born!

June 9, 12:25 p.m., 6 lbs, 15 ozs, 20" long
Miss Lejla (Grace) Rekic made her appearance. My daughter's first baby, natural childbirth, 8 days over due. Everything went well. I'm sure all of you seasoned grandmother's knew how I felt when I took that baby in to my arms! For the rest of you, just wait. God is so good.... Ahhh, the most perfect miracle of new life! Thank you God! She looks a lot like my 2 daughters with a head full of dark hair... You guys will be seeing lots of photos, but here are a few.. Thank you for all of your prayers!

Oh Terri, CONGRATULATIONS!!! It's about time you had a little miracle come along just for you! That's how I feel about MY granddaughter - that God made her just for me! Head over heals in love with her! Give her lots of kisses from all of us!

Thank you everyone. I am SOOO in love already. Janie, I do feel like she is God's little miracle for me! I went to the hospital today to see her. They didn't let her out today. Something about her mother being O blood type and she is B, but not RH factor. I'm not really sure, but they are watching her for jaundice. Her blood work has been good so far and she will probably come home tomorrow, but I got to hold her for about 1/2 hour today and rock her while she slept and visit with my daughter. She has changed already. Here she is... 1 day old!

Yes, they are all so very precious.........Even the great grand children..........I now have 6 great grandchildren 4 boys and 2 girls, and they are more precious than ever..... .......it is just so nice to think about what you started.......they are all angels..

that sounds cute! ... I'm not sure where poppit comes from actually?? We all call babies poppits over here

Thanks, everyone and Sharon, that is so true. I have to share this... my parents came over Sunday afternoon to meet her. When my Dad held her, her cried! I love that about my Dad. He is so sweet and sentimental. I had to share these.... She looks like she is smiling at him. The last photo is 4 generations:
