I'm new in this forum

Hello Ladies, My name is Marlen and I'm new in this forum, first I would like to apology for my English, is very poor and terrible, any mistakes I would appreciate all your help, I live here in Miami, Florida for 30 years but I born in Cuba, I'm a oil painter on canvas for 27 years and I'm also a doll collector for 15 years, I started making reborn dolls a year ago for me, family members and some friends is one of the way to practice but I need to learn a lot before I star to sell my reborn babies on eBay, is to many different techniques and is not the same when you paint on canvas, Genesis paint is completely different that oil paint for canvas, also I have to improve in micro-rooting that part is very difficult and need a lot a patient, I love the art so I will do the best to learn this new technique, for me I need to have the brush in my hands all the time is my life, THANK YOU Lara for the opportunity to be in this forum, I hope when I have some money to take the Lara's on line classes I hear a lot of very good comments, pretty soon I will buy some of the ebooks and the dvd, I NEED to learn A LOT. Thank You everyone and please any mistakes that I write you can teach me I don't have any problem, you learn always from the mistakes.

We don't require perfect English around here. If we did, a lot of us American born would be in big trouble.

Welcome to the REAL forum. Your English is really, really good. I understood everything you said. You have come to the right place and if you buy one of the classes after it is completed on the forum you will still get your questions answered and plenty of support from Lara, the moderators and all the rest of us who can help.

Since you have been painting for 27 years, you have been looking at color and detail and that is a huge help.

You have found the right place to learn with Lara.
And don't worry about your English, I am woeful at spelling on the computer becasue my fingers hit the keys in the wrong order (I can spell) but I can also read phonetically as I used to teach little kids to read and write.

Welcome, Marlen!! Your English is just fine. Don't you worry. We are all here to help and support each other. As such an experienced artist with painting, I am sure you have lots to add to the forum, as well. Would love to see some of your other work!

Thank you Ladies, I tried to send my first 2 dolls that I make with Lara's ebooks, I'm waiting that my son help me to send the photos, I'm not specialist on the computer, and when I have a chance I will take some pictures of my first oil canvas for you can see when I started 27 years ago.

Hi Marlen.... welcome to the forum. You will learn lots from everyone here... I am new too and have just gotten home from attending Lara's workshop in Paris Tennessee.... Wonderful class and my baby was beautiful... Of course... all due to Lara's instruction.... Hope you can join in one of her classes in the future.
