Hi I am new ....Michelle from Texas :)

Hi I am new here. My name is Michelle and I am from Texas. I am new to reborning although I have read up on it and studied it for about two years while saving up the money and supplies to start my first baby. I finally got enough money and supplies together to start in November 2010. I am still working on my first baby because I can only work on her on weekends since I work full-time , 12 hour days. I absolutley love it already and just in this short time I am hooked
I am also a collector!! I can't wait to get to know everyone here and take some of Lara's classes.

Thanks for the welcome!! The baby in my siggy was reborned by Marchell Adair of Precious Imitations Nursery. She was my dream baby that I have been wanting for quite some time. Marchell did a wonderful job on her , she is perfect I am just hoping that someday I can be good as her in reborning!!

Michelle to the "REAL" forum so glad you are here. This is a wonderful place to be and Lara's classes are just fantastic. Hope you'll share pic's of your 1st baby. It always exciting to see someone else's work. Don't be afraid to share because we have all started out as beginners. I wish when I started out 3.5 years ago that I had a place like this, for help! Believe you me I needed it, I had to throw away many kits . Audrey, you know what I am talking about Huh! I remember taking the paint off of a kit with turpentine, that smell never went away to this day we refer to it as stinky baby. So, don't be afraid to ask questions because one of these great ladies here will answer.

Boy do I ever remember stinky baby! I close my eyes and can still smell the poor little thing. Wonder if she is laying in a landfill somewhere in South Carolina still stinking??????????

Yes, Michelle, we all started and had our share of mishaps because we didn't have the luxury of a forum like this one. You will learn so much here, and everyone is so willing to answer questions and help you along your reborning journey!

Thanks so much for the wonderful welcome Yes I have heard great things about this forum and that is why I am here. I just paid for the "Just Born" class and I can't wait , I am ready to learn new techniques and have fun at the same time with all you wonderful ladies and I plan on asking TONS of questions and learning lots because I really want to succeed at this.

I definitely will share and post pictures for critique.......I am not afraid of anything I decided to start on a cheaper kit for my first though because of the fear I would ruin him/her but it's a start. I am working on a secrist Zoe kit right now although it is taking me FOREVER since I work 12 hour days so I can only paint on the weekends or after work which usually I am to tired after work but I will get there , slow but steady

Oh yes I love Zoe's little face too , she is adorable and the more I work on her the less I will want to give her up Yes I hear Lara's classes are wonderful and amazing and that is why I quickly got here and signed up ...didn't want to miss it and I can't wait till it starts!!

What part of Texas are you from? I was born and raised in Ft. Worth I moved to New Mexico in 1992. All of my family is still in Texas.

I live in Spring, Texas which is a suburb outside of Houston!! I HATE Houston LOL , but love it where I am at. I am farther out which is much better than living in Houston!!
