New to Forum

I joined the Strawberries and Cream class, ordered my kit and will be reading until it gets here...I found out about the class because of a post that Carmen did in the Reborn Yahoo Group that I am on showing off her Sophie

Oh goody....a new person... I'm in the class too and I'm the one that keeps asking Lara questions on anything and everything I can think of. :tumbingbabe: I'm Vivian, or Aviva...whichever you like or Viv or Vibs...I answer to all of them :flower:

You guys are all so nice and the forum is so organized, it was no problem at all to find the class and yes you are correct, it will be great to read over everything, take notes, etc. as I don't have access to a computer at my kitchen table where I reborn, well if I would clean it off, I could put my laptop there :)

And yes Carmen you should make more posts like that as I have been looking for months for an updated reborn class and you would not believe I found one of my porcelain dollmaking buddies on this forum - how funny is that. She took a beginner reborning class that I gave in Tyler, Tx so many years ago and I would have had so much fun doing that except for the fact that I was also judging at that show, plus I was helping a couple of people with their booths and I got the worst cold you could think of, I felt very sorry for all the people that were getting their critique sheets from me - I was using kleenex but I can imagine all the germs that I was spreading.

I have read over some of the info and this is exactly what I was looking for

Well, I am so glad that you found us!!! I do send out an E Book to everyone of the class, so you can print it out, which will help you. As soon as the last lesson is posted, I make the Ebook, so give me like 5 days on that. I am actually still writting the lessons. I know, I should have had this done last month! But, like everyone I get overloaded. I did do the rooting part last night, so I wouldn't have to do it this morning...he he. If you guys only knew how frantic I get putting these all together each morning.

Oh, that is great about the ebook, I don't have to worry about taking notes. I can only imagine how hard it is for you to get all this together, I think I read that you have 5 children - I would not know how you could ever find the time for anything all I can say is you must have extreme energy

Yes, I have 5 kids. 2 are teenagers, so really, it's like they are not here, except when they want to eat. My twins just started kindergarten. So, now it's just me and Sofie at home! We had a good day today...dentist apt for her at 10, then we went to Panaras for lucnh...yum! Then we went to the pet store and I almost bought a Chihuahua!! Oh, he was soo cute! Grey and black long haired and very calm and sweet. Just wanted to sit in Sofie's lap.
OK, well, maybe I should start rooting my proto Huti baby and let Sof watch Dora for a bit!!
