Hi all. I am asking for prayer for the peace, comfort and strength for my family. On October 22, my hubby went to ER for fractured hip. He had surgery 23. At some point he had a heart attack and didn't recover. He was brought home on hospice care 11/5 and passed on 11/8. In the hospital he had NG tube and when he got home we gave him ice cream and pop as he wanted. Also, we divorced in 2010 so I could be his paid caregiver, so on 11/7 we were remarried. I'm glad he got those last wishes. Also, on 11/6 he was saved and baptized which I cannot tell you how much it means to know I will see him again one day. I am leaning on the Lord right now, but wanted you all to know what has been going on.
It's hard sometimes to believe this has happened and feels like I'm going to wake up from a bad dream.

O sweetie....it definatel;y sounds like God was calling him home. I know it doesnt seem fair, but the Lord needed him more there in heaven I think. I know it's very hard, keep leaning on Jesus, and know that your husband is now a guardian angel watching over you.

Praying that you will be able to find the peace that passes all understanding in Jesus' arms.

I am so sorry to hear of your loved ones passing, just remember he loved you and has left you with a lot of loving memories, he is no longer in pain ..........sympathy to you and your family.

My heart goes out to you Lorrie, I know the dark place you are in although I didn't lose my husband I lost my 15 year old son. If you need someone to talk to pm me anytime. I am not really religious but the Serenity Prayer helped me amidst my despair. We will see David and Robert again they are just away xoxo
