Update on Trish

Mum finally got the echo ultrasound done yesterday and it is confirmed that she did have a heart attack, but they have not said how bad the damage is etc. They are hoping to let her home today if all is still well when doc comes around, although now they are concerned about her diabetes, and are adjusting her insulin levels as she is having too many low readings, and yesterday had a hypo of 1.7mmol, they don't like it under 4mmol, normal levels are considered to be between 4 and 10mmol so yes 1.7 was way too low.
I am sure she will come on and fill us in further once she gets home.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Seems whenever I take a little break from the forum stuff happens that I never hear! that's what I get for trying to get some reborning done! lol

Lyn, you must be done in totally! First the baby and being away from home and now your mom! I am so glad to hear that she is going to be up and about and that they are watching the diabetes closely.

My goodness what would we all do without our Trish? I, personally would be hearbroken.

Love to you Lyn and of course to Trish........btw how is Trish's husband faring through all this? Poor man must be worried to death!

Hi Joy, there is another thread in prayers from the other day where I said she had gone to hospital with a suspected heart attack, which it has now been confirmed she did have a heart attack and it caused fluid to build on her lungs causing the severe breathing problems that took her to hospital.
Dad is dad, no other way to describe how he is coping, short of stating it is a wonder he has not been placed into the basement of the hospital by both Mum and my brother. It was a scary few days, but I am coping through it all, what else can I do......... LOL.

I hope Trish is home soon and feeling well again, I have missed her and been worrying how she is.

Thats great news, Trish has been missed.

We will still include her in our prayers.

HELLO ALL, I AM HOME, HAD A WONDERFUL SLEEP IN MY OWN BED..... EVERONE FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS AND WISHES........THEY MEAN MORE TO ME THAN I CAN TELL YOU. I have 2 doctor appointments next week, and I am definately taking it VERY VERY easy,not caring about the house ( but I do have home care coming on Monday to do my floor and bathroom etc) so that is good.

I was glad to get home, I have been poked and prodded, and I thought Dracula had taken up residence with me the amount of blood they kept taking, but hey it has to be done. My insulin has been dropped by 30 units a day, so if it hold and does its job that is great.

Will let you know once I get my ultrasound results etc.

Sorry I not sure where to put this so here goes..

Went to my Cardiologist and he decided to do an Angiogram, (I have a leaky valve) so was to be Thursday 22nd Nov. WELL some over energetic person filed my REFERAL away in my file, my Cardiologist has been away and they don't know now if I will have it done as his schedule is full. so won't know until either Tuesday or Wednesday. If he can't do it I will have to wait until next year sometime in January.

I do like efficiency when it goes well, not at present I am not a very happy little (big) chappy......steam is almost coming out my ears, I wanted it all over before the Festive season.

OOOHHHH well life was never meant to be easy so I have been told.

One great thing happened today, I have another great grandson, "Riley Callum."....10lbs 1 oz (OUCH), but all are well and happy. Lyn is over the moon at last.

Thanks for the update, Mum. I'm sorry about the inefficiency of that over zealous person so you can't get your procedure done early.

Congratulations on the birth of your great grandson! I just bet he has cheeks you just wanna pinch!

My RANT and all your prayers must have worked I am to have my Angiogram on Thursday morning......Hooray

tHAKS EVERONE....i HAD MY aNGIOGRAM..............Had 2 balloons put in to widen 2 arteries, and the leaking one is repairing itself, so as my doctor said I am on the right medicatio........I go back to him in February next year.


I am taking it easy today, a bit tender in my groin, and my back is letting me know when I move around too much......but the news is all good

Trish, that is great news! Hope your back feels better, sit down and put your feet up.

So pleased that all is well and you have had your procedure done
before Christmas.

Oh Lyn, I am so sorry to hear that, I just am catching up on the forum and didn't know, gosh I sure hope she is okay and will recover quickly , I will keep her in my prayers, she is such a sweet lady...
