My Sister In Law

My sister in law was supposed to have a hysterectomy this morning. They closed her back up and said she has cancer all over her body. She and my brother are in their 40's. I don't know any more than that. Please pray for the decisions that are going to have to be made and for their salvation.

Michelle's cancer has been diagnosed as stage 4 ovarian cancer. She is starting chemo tomorrow.. Please remember her in your prayers.

Oh dear Jesus please help this poor girl and her family to get through this, please move her cancer, Terri I will pray for her. I am so sorry to hear this. Keep all praying for her.

Here is an update... Michele is in the middle of chemo. but her pain is intensifying. I'm not sure if I said before but they have diagnosed her as stage 4 ovarian cancer. She is afraid to take the pain meds. (she is a nurse) for fear she will become addicted, but she needs them to heal and fight the cancer. Please continue to pray. She is having a really rough time...

Thanks girls for asking. She just got her second round of chemo. and has lost her hair. I think she had a pretty rough week, but she will never complain. It's just a "wait and see". Please keep the prayers coming. She is a wonderful lady!

My sister in law, Michelle got back some more tests today which show she has not responded to the 3 rounds of chemo. They have cancelled the hysterectomy and are scheduling an endoscopy and colonoscopy for the 14th. They are saying the cancer must have come from somewhere other than the ovaries. I guess they are thinking colon.... Please continue to pray for her and my brother, Pat. thanks everyone

Michelle had her colonoscopy yesterday morning. They found a mass in her colon, which they now think was the primary cancer. They gave her 3 rounds of chemo for ovarian cancer which did no good, just made her sick and prolonged the correct treatment. I am just praying that it is treatable. I spoke with my brother last night and my heart if breaking for him. Some of you may know that my first husband died when I was 31. This brings back a lot of things I wish I could forget..... New news on Michelle. Her colonoscopy was yesterday, not next week and they did find a mass in the colon. They are thinking that it started there. I am trying to look at it as God guiding them to the right medication. I told my Mom we just need to pray harder. Our God is able to do above and beyond anything we can imagine...

Terri, sounds like your plate is even fuller than mine. I'll toss you a rope with a knot in the end and you just hang on til things smooth out again.

Michelle's cancer diagnosis has been changed to stage 4 colon cancer. She just had another scan, which my brother said he wished he hadn't seen. The dr.s are saying that surgery is not an option. We're all afraid to ask what that means.. She is continuing chemo... It just seems hopeless, but I know it's in God's hands and His decision. Of course we are praying for healing.. Please continue to pray for her...

That is such horrible news, colon cancer is not fun, but you and your family are in my thoughts. I have been down this route with my Mum, she had hers removed (a bag on her side) but she then lived for 14 years, so don't give up hope, it is out there.........

Ovarian cancer is the hardest to detect
if I understand correctly.
