Hi Everyone,

I am also a new member. I own and operate a doll shop in Western Pa. I became interested in reborn dolls when my granddaughter was born with a serious birth defect. I wanted to make a doll that resembled her to keep her memory alive. ( She went to be with the angels at 30 months). I took a class taught by Stephanie Sullivan at Sauders Village about 5 years ago. I have made a number of dolls but have yet to make a doll in Maddy's likeness. (Wanted to wait until I was sure I could do her justice). I found these online classes and was thrilled. I know I'll learn alot here.

I do have a question about Lara's online store. Where do I find her premix paints?

Hi and Welcome! if you look on the class info she talks about buying at BB...just type in Bountiful Baby and it will take you to there sight.

Lara's classes are great you will really enjoy them also if you go to Lara's shop site you can purchase her premixed paints there.

Hi Deb, so glad you joined Real. There are some great online classes and eBooks here that might help you in your search to make a memorial reborn of your precious granddaughter. I initially learned reborning from Stephanie Sullivan`s DVDs years ago, it must have been nice to take the classes in person.
