my critters

I work at a vet clinic and also volunteer weekly at my local shelter assisting in surgeries... My house consists of 3 great danes, a irish wolfhound, a shar pei mix, 2 cats and 3 macaw parrots...

Oh I LOVE Irish Wolfhounds!! It takes a large piece of land to have one, though let alone add 2 Great Dane's(which are also fantastic dogs) to the mix!

we have just over 4 acres... and their dog yard is almost an acre fenced. Most of my animals are rescues. I had another Dane Thorn who passed this summer a month short of being 12 (really old for a Dane). Scrappy and Hank came from the pound this year, paris pinkie and Morgayne all came from really bad homes and had many medical issues when they got here. I do a small scale Dane rescue, and help out other rescues when i can.
