My husband went to a website to look for girls names and he said that there were too many to choose from so he clicked on a page, closed his eyes and the name he pointed to was what he named her. So creative ;( I call her mick mick and it fits her so well! Shes a spunky little lovey bug :)

Hi April that's a good way to pick a name. When I was naming my two toy poodle puppies last year I made lists. Then I decided on Oliver and Daisy. Oliver seemed to suit him fine, but Daisy wasn't right so I tried out different names for about a week and finally settled on Bridget. They are great fun and have been a comfort since I lost Skye in August. I was able to put my carpet square back in the lounge room last week, as we haven't had any accidents. for a while ( moslty Oliver). How's the toilet training going?

This one has been the most difficult to house train but she just turned 8 weeks yesterday and I think it just finally clicked for her cause it just seemed like she suddenly got it and will now let me know when she needs to go out and she had an a cident this morning and stood at it and whined like she knew she had done something bad.

No we do not plan to have her ears clipped. We discussed the process with the vet nurse who used to assist docs when doing them and it is a very painful, long and expensive process. It would look cool but it's just for cosmetic purposes only so we decided to leave her as God made her, floppy eared :)

Precious little Miki! She is so sweet! For a minute there I thought you named her after Michelob Beer like my neighbors did. That dog's nickname was Mick, too. He was the smartest dog, I have always admired Dobermans since I've known Mick. I am glad you are not getting the ears cropped. The blue pee pee pads work great to prevent accidents if you can't get her outside in time. bigsmile

I've tried the Pee Pads and she wont use them :( I even got some of that training spry that helps them know where to pee and it dosent work with her :( Knock on wood: She's had no accidents today!
