| I'm making this on Sunday, and since we learned British English in school cornflour for me is the white type normally called Maizena here in Norway. I need to go to the bigger supermarket tomorrow, they are one of the only shops selling Guinness. If they don't have I'll have to go to a place called "Vinmonopolet"(The store that sells wine and alcoholic beverages with more alcohol that normal beer) They also tend to have allot of foreign beers. Just need to make sure I get to the store before 8 pm since it's illegal in this country to sell alcohol in the stores after that. | |

| Thanks for the recipe, mine is not done yet but here is a picture. I don't had sliced carrots only the small baby carrot type. I've invited my grandmother since this is her birthday present. Mashed potatoes will be made with whipping cream and homemade garlic butter. | |

| It was really nice, you should come and enjoy a Norwegian winter night with a special kind of Norwegian stew. That stew after being outside in -10ºC is just wonderful or just simple hot chocolate. | |

| Swedish winter nights are so nice with glog(glug?) My Godfather used to make it at Christmas for us each year. Was only allowed one small cup though as I was a minor. | |

| Probably because your grandfather added alcohol in it, he did not want you to become drunk. I like gløgg with nuts and raisins | |
