Rooting needle help, please! Empty
PostSubject: Rooting needle help, please!   Rooting needle help, please! EmptyWed 19 Apr 2017 - 18:16

I just started my first attempt at rooting and I'm getting black marks every time the needle goes into the head. From what I can tell from Google, the needle has factory residue on it and needs to be cleaned before I go any further Any suggestions on how to clean the needles? Thanks!

I have at times just used A damp paper towel with a little bit of dish soap on it. I have also used a paper towel with rubbing alcohol on it and that seem to work the best hope this helps some.

Good luck

Thanks ladies! I did try the alcohol on a cotton pad and that helped. The thinner sounds like a good option too and I'll jot that down for the future. Thanks again. bigsmile

I do this too. Just keep poking it in the neck flange until there are no marks.
