I need a bit of help

I need a few questions answered and I hope someone can help me.
1. I am painting a Ferdinand kit and he has a hoof on one foot. I would like to use a silver metallic paint on the horse shoe. I paint with GHSP. Would I use acryllics? What kind of paints to use and how would I seal them.

2. Air Dry Gloss Varnish I know I asked before when BB stopped selling it but I was able to find it at Dolls by Sandie, now she doesn't have it either. What do I use in place of it for lips and nails and where can I buy it?

3. I have a mermaid kit and would like to use iridescent paints on the tail. What kind of paints, where do I find them and how do I use/seal them.

An idea for painting your silver hoof and mermaid tails that I have seen done in the past and looked wonderful was pearl ex pigment powders mixed with Genesis thinning medium painted on. It created a nice metallic shimmer :)
I've used them painted onto clay pieces and they completely covered the piece with color then I sealed with a layer of airdry varnish but I'm sure you could use any Genesis or airdry sealer you wish to use.
As for the airdry gloss I have found(thanx to Angie Jones) that Babyfx final sealer is the best to use in place of gloss. It looks more natural and doesn't turn color or go sticky after time like some airdry glosses can.

Hi ,Genesis sells a metallic silver. I ordered mine from JerrysArtarama.com If you can't find it I have a large jar I used when doing my fairies. I would be glad to give you some for your hoof. You can also mix a touch of the metallic with any GHSP color and it will make a glittery effect to any color. The more metallic you add the more glitter comes out . It is a silver so if you use a lot it will slightly change your color.
