I want to share something special

I captured a special moment with my 2 youngest daughters, Kalysta and Skylar on Monday. This is Kalysta's Senior year in High school and up to now she has not let it get to her.
The girls are in band together and Monday was the last time they would march together on their home field and the last time they would do their full routine.
So Kalysta finally began to get emotional that night.

I asked the girls to get together for a few pictures and you can see the moment unfold. (pic 1)At first they were being their goofy silly selves. Kalysta had already been crying but Skylar didn't know. (pic 2)Then Skylar realizes that she had been crying and asks her if she had been. (pic 3) In that moment the girls embrace in the warmest sister hug and cry together as they realize the finality of what the night means. (pic 4) They begin to smile and laugh again (pic 5) Skylar tells her to stop crying cause she is making her cry, and they go back to their goofy selves!  

In those moments I see a sister bond I can only WISH I had and Thank God for what he is doing in their lives and I am so thank ful that they have this bond and this relationship! I know it will never be broken!

And yes, I cried the entire time I took these pictures, especially the 3rd one, it really got me!!

Lovely, sweet pictures Sarah.  I sure know what you were filling and how special those moments are!!! I  just went through the same things with my two girls going off to different colleges after cheering together sense they were 4 years old.  One daughter now is a cheerleader for Virginia Tech. The other one is in medical school. Your pictures brought back all my memories as well.
