| My grandson, Alex, loves the movie, Despicable Me so I crocheted these two Minion Hats for Alex and Daniel for Halloween. I used a pattern from Etsy with Lily Sugar n` Cream cotton yarn. Of course, the hats turned out huge so we stuffed the tops with polyfil and they wore bulky hats under the Minion Hats. Here are the hats before I sent them to Virginia..  Here is Mommie, Daniel and Alex all set to go…..  My son, Peter, stuffed a jacket, put eyebrow pencil on and made a stern Gru like face, Alex is so excited….  Even though he doesn`t even eat candy yet, 7 month old Daniel, stole the show by being cute in whatever he wears…

| Thanks Pia! I think the main reason those hats got so stretched is because the adults kept trying them on! I told my son to wash them in cold water on gentle cycle after Halloween. I am sure it will tighten the stitch.  | |
