Hi everyone

Hi,

My name is Chrissy and I live in Lowestoft, England I live with my husband Eric who I have been with for 26 years although we only got married a year ago, didn't like to rush, lol. Between us we have 2 sons, 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren.
I am very new to reborning (started in June) and have just finished my 8th baby, Victoria by Sheila Michael. I have been very fortunate and have sold every one I have made so far. I used to make celebration cakes and Faberge eggs but rheumatoid arthritis put a stop to that.i then discovered this wonderful art and found it was minimal strain on my joints and I was hooked!
It has been my experience so far that all reborners are lovely, lovely people and I really look forward to getting to know you all

Yes I am delighted. I cannot wait to start on my next. I found it so relaxing and the end result was wonderful. I have definetely found my new favorite hobby. I am also hoping to be able to sell some of my futurre babies. My first I expected to not turn out so good so I promised her to my daughter. It will be nice to have her around to compare to my next babies. Probably by next year I won't find her as good lol

Yes, putting Victoria together was somewhat of a challenge. I ripped my finger on the hook while I was doing her, ouch! Lol.

I live in Essex, not that far from you.

I do not do a lot of reborning, mainly crochet for the
reborn world, which I sell privately and at doll shows.

Have you been do any doll shows, the ones at Peterborough
are excellent, next June should be a great one as lots of
new different things are planned. If you want details let
me know and I will send them to you.

I'm sorry I haven't been on here much, haven't done any babies for a few weeks due to illness but, I'm on the mend now so hopefully I'll get back on it.

Welcome to REAL. I am kind of new here to. I have been a member for a little while. I don't post that much.
I have been reborning for a little while. I started when went to school . I had to put reborning away for awhile. I am back at it now and I love it.
