I'm new to the forum, but I think Lara will remember me lol....

A little about me...

My name is Laurie and I'm the owner/operator/seamstress behind Fancy Pants 'n Flounces Attire. I have been sewing for over 30 years and love to create little specials for all sizes of reborns, babies and children! I also crochet and have been crocheting on and off for about the same amount of time. I also have a very special pattern for reborn bodies....and they are the ultimate! I was doing custom sewing a couple of years ago for reborns and then stopped for a bit. I made a comeback in January of this year! I am doing a huge upgrade and update on my website and will begin taking custom orders again on the 15th of this month.

I would love to be your go to gal for your most wanted items and most challenging! If you have a want / need I can design and create it to your specifications!

I am just beginning to look around to get to know everyone here and to get to know all your needs and wants!

Laurie, you are funny...my hubby has grown so much over the years and don't think he thinks they are AS freaky as he did. But Angelica child reborn really freaked everyone out. My teenager just plain hates all of them!

I must say, I have bought from Laurie and her work is wonderful!! So glad you are joining us!!

LOL Thanks Lara ...well, lets suffice to say when prom came, my daughter had a boy - friend (not dating as he has a girlfriend) that took her and I was on STRICT order to HIDE the dolls as she didn't want him to 'freak out'....so we did a fast run through the house (I don't have a work room, though I did have and then another daughter came back home and took it over) to collect babies, baby clothes and hide it all in my room....oopsy forgot my Mr. Skylar sitting in his rocking chair....and the boy did NOT freak, just gave me a very strange look lol. One daughter has to have them all turned over and faces hidden if she spends the night (sleeps in the living room) or she feels like she is being watched and can't sleep. :)

I love welcoming another sewer and I am having so much trouble creating bodies that fit well and I thought it would be easy.

The 'Frecky' stories are so funny - love those teenagers trying to get the grownups to 'behave' for their friends.

Welcome, any friend of Lara's is a friend here and we would love more 'baby events' that are amusing.

LOL Lyndie....thanks as to the body thing...I have a story to die for on that one.

I make bodies with all the bits and pieces ....one day one of the girls (I have 5 daughters, 1 left at home, 3 that come home every week) walked into the house while I was working on a little boy body. I was stuffing and shaping the penis and she asked what I was doing...I tossed it to her saying, "here you can help" she asked what it was and when I told her she about flipped out...THREW it at me and ran yelling "MOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM that's just grossss!" LOL So they have learned NOT to ask what I'm working on when they walk into the house ...just in case ;) lol
