Oh my gosh, I am so excited but my poor mail carrier, I freaked him out! I have a new mail carrier and he pulled into my driveway. He said I have a package in the back seat for you. I have several packages ordered so I was not surprised. I told him if he ever came we weren't home where to leave my package. He got a huge box out of the back seat and i saw the front and I got so excited I said; "That's my new baby!" Poor guy looked at me and then acted like he was not sure if he wanted to give me the box or not. He looked the box and back at me and back at the box again. Poor guy I had to explain and put him at ease. He let this huge breath out handed me the package and said enjoy and could not get in his vehicle fast enough!
Oh my box is soo cool I took a pic and will upload when I can breath again. There is a stork drawn on my box with my address in the stork bag. And the Happy Mother's Day written in a bubble. (I am never going to get this typed I keep having to hit spell check) I wish I were talented. Oh my gosh Rachael I am crying and I haven't even opened my baby. I love everything. I was so touched. Now that i have glitter everywhere time to open my baby! I can not say enough times Thank you so much! I love her! She has already had her first kiss. I will show her to evevryone when I get pics loaded.

I couldn't resist all the glitter...you've seen why, I'm sure. I mentioned how you're probably going to have glitter in everything for a month! Can't wait to see your pictures.

Debbie, be sure to post a picture of the stork drawing, I had taken a picture of it for my own records but accidentally deleted it off of my memory card making room to take pictures of the baby I get. I also accidentally deleted the picture I had taken of the Pixie dust bottle. I wanted to show my Mom because she gave me the bottle for it. I'm losing my mind with anticipation!!

lol Debbie! You're having too much fun, I think. I made those Crocs out of craft foam. The first time I ever saw a pair of Crocs my OB nurse was wearing them (after the birth of my first son) so I thought if your baby was wearing scrubs, she should have Crocs. When I saw that fabric I just HAD to have it for you. I had no idea what to make out of it, but I had to have it! And the pink animal is a pig.

I actually have a pair of crocs for a baby but they are like a size 1. Leave it to Rachel to make a pair!! Now we all want a pair!

She made a pig to match the beautiful blanket, There was pacifier and toothbrush set. A bottle of pixie dust. A bear with another paci. A wand all besides the baby and what I got to go thru.

This is Shyleen by Petra Lechner, her first choice baby. She said she wanted a fairy or vampire, so I created magnetic fairy wings that attach to her fairy outfit.

Karen said Debbie's favorite color is pink, so I played it up...can you tell?!

Oh, and Debbie, I gotta say, her little fairy shoes are the best pair of shoes I've made yet! I really dislike making shoes, but I didn't want to send her without any, so I forced myself to make them. I'm so glad I did because I was very happy with how they came out!

This whole post has been a beautiful creation/story. I just love it. I'm trying to think of a way to save the whole thing.

Love the Petra sculpt (haven't seen that one). The outfits are so sweet - part of the story for sure.

There are some topics that I come back and visit - just for the joy of the experience - this is one.

I'm glad you enjoyed everything, Lyndie! I had so much fun putting this all together for Debbie. I actually had to restrain myself because there could have been so much more that I put in there with her! But Karen said two outfits, a blanket, and a couple accessories.

Hopefully when I get to come home again, whenever that will be.. I go in tomorrow to work and the schedule was not done past tomorrow so I am going prepared for a 72 hour shift just in case. I may just work 24 and it maybe the 72 I have no idea. I was told tonight that this was a rough day, darn it last week all week was too. I was hoping for a break.

I am thinking she is going to work with me. I just found the orange on her bracelet. I guess I will find little things for a while. LOL I sure thought I had seen everything I sure looked at her and hugged her.

Yep, the orange charm goes with all my Orange Grove Nursery babies. You should see the teeny tiny bracelet I made for my Rosebud (Rose DeWitt Bukater)! If you take Shyleen with you to work, she'll be able to give you hugs all the time!

I know lol they are used to me having babies at work with me. I root hair there and occasionally and I have cut outfits out for them and such. They are always wondering what my latest baby look like.

Well....I'm not sleeping...obviously. LOL 2 reasons...Increased labor pains, and 2 this stuuuupid cold. I wish someone could just pull the plug so I could breathe again. I went to be hours ago, just cant get comfy, so here I am in the middle of the night...pining away for my little baby who will hopefull make his appearrance tomorrow :) Great Job Rachael, the little fairy baby is totally adorable, and Congratulations to the brand new mommy!!~

Oh Rachel what a great baby! Just love the scrubs and crocs. How creative. Beautiful hair rooting once again.

Thank-you, Tina and Dianne. I spent a LOT of time rooting that head! Mostly because I kept picking out extra hairs. I rooted it with alpaca so it is super baby fine.

Rachel, how did you create this ultrasound? Its awesome! I would love to include one in an auction of a baby lol

I temporarily attached the kit to the body with string, posed her in the fetal position on a pillow and took a picture. Then, I put the picture into Photoshop, converted it to grey-scale, added "noise" and "pixelization" to make it look grainy and then added words and shapes to make it look like an ultrasound. I looked at an ultrasound of my son taken in 2009 as a guide.

Really? I just created an account with Photoshop.com. its like photobucket. But now I see why I cant make it look as good as yours. Lol. I was trying so hard and was about to ask you how you did all that?

Oh, I'd never heard about them having anything online. I'd imagine it's not very advanced though. Probably trying to entice you to buy the full version!
