I need help please! My mother in law had a stroke either early this morning or last night. She now knows who she is and who my father in law is and the fact she has 2 children but not their names or who they are.

Our thoughts are with you, and if you need anyone to chat to, Tina is a good person to contact on here, she has dealt with stroke recovery with family members and is well versed in it and will assist with info if required.

I just heard an update. My mother in law sniffed when the nurse asked her to, YEAH! The Dr said her Thyroid was her main problem but it may take 6 weeks for that to resolve its self and her sugar being 500 has caused her renal failure. Her kidneys may never be "normal" again.
