Newbie here :)

Hi,

I'm new to the forum. Also fairly new to reborning. I'm hoping to meet new people and learn more about this wonderful art form. I've done three reborns so far. Two babies and a toddler. I can credit my toddler turning out so well thanks to the "toddler class" I purchased from this website.

Hi ladies and thank you all for the warm welcome. Lara's ebooks are fantastic. I purchased the "Just born" ebook last night. Will soon get them all lol. I have learnt very quickly that there's more to reborning than mixing some paint and pouncing it on. What i love about Lara's ebooks is she includes measurements of how much paint to thinner ratio. The steps are very clear and easy to follow. I will post pics of my toddler tonight. Her pics are on the desktop computer (I'm on the laptop atm). School holidays so kids have claimed the main computer lol.

Welcome Cherie. I am glad you found Lara early on in your reborning, and not after a year or more of stumbling along like I did.
Whereabouts are you? You mention kids are on holidays, so sounds like you might be in southern hemisphere too.

I thought the same Lyn as my girls are on holidays now too

Welcome! Glad you found us! If you have any questions, just ask a way! Every one here is very suypportive and helpful, and we have some brilliant artists and sculptors on here....

Great to have you with us. I actually envy you because you have the e-books to guide you in your reborning. We had nothing when we started but a vague instruction book from Bountiful which is where we bought our first kits. There were many times we looked and thought gee! I know these can look better, but HOW??? It was hit or miss then. Lara's classes are wonderful and even after reborning for 5 years I still learn from the classes. Show us your babies!!

Going to try and post pics of my bubs. My toddler was done using Lara's ebook :) Hope it works :) I bought the beautiful doll ebook the other night. When I get a fine day will take some pics of my new bub xx

I'm in Sydney Australia. Hoping its not raining tomorrow. While I'm waiting for eyes and hair to arrive I'm going to start my Daisy by Bonnie Brown. I hope to participate in one of the classes some day. Slowly learning my way around the forum :)

I am also Sydney so if ever you want to get together for a dolly session let me know, you will be mroe than welcome to come use my paints too as I don't ahve transport to get about. Have sent you a pm anyway.
