Hi everyone

Greetings, I'm Jessi. I'm on here because I think all of you can teach me a thing or two. I'm starting to look at what it takes to make my own reborn. I've actually been thinking about it for a while but have not understood all of what I need to do and how to go about it compleatly. I've tried experimenting a few times with different little things and seemed to enjoy it. I look forward to taking the step in making my first baby. I already collect dolls from Lee Middleton, and Ashton Drake but have not yet had the chance to even own a reborn and would love to I'm trying to find one that would be able to also fit into my budget since I don't have a lot to spend. But I want to enjoy this hobby myself. I hope I can get to know some of you though.

Hi Jessi, great to have you here!! How exciting that you are starting out with reborning this is a great place to be and lots to learn. Lara's classes are also a really good starting point if you are able to join in doing one. I look forward to getting to know you.

I sure hope I'm able to join. I'm not even sure where to really start with reborning but I'm willing to learn anything anyone can teach me about it thats for sure.

You have found a wonderful new hobby and a great group of new friends . Lara's classes are the best!! Please don't hesitate to ask for help. I just finished my first baby and am working on my second one. I just love this art of reborning and i'm sure that you will too.

Welcome, Jessi! How fantastic you found the best teaching and learning forum for reborn dolls before actually starting! I had a misconception when I started that it was more affordable to make these treasures than it was to buy them, but long since found out that this is a very expensive hobby! I, also, don't have a lot of money to invest in this hobby but I somehow make due and am totally addicted to this art form!

HI and welcome to the forum. Lara is a great teacher. I'm fairly new also. I purchased her AA ebook and am working on a baby right now. She is amazing with explaining the do's and the don'ts. I love it when a teacher can also explain what not to do.. bringing into it her own personal experiences. The other members are also very awesome. BOL to you and again welcome to the forum.

The ladies on here are so helpful and have wonderful ideas! Welcome and enjoy your stay!

Thank you everyone for the support. I will probably join the classes, I just have to wait until after May I have some major things going on before then but after that I will be starting. I'm glad I'll be able to start doing this shortly though.

Hello and welcome to REAL!!! I know you will just love it here. Everyone is very helpful. There are lots of good free tutorials in the tut section to help get you started. If you have any questions, just post them in the Cozy lounge section, and you will get lots of support and help!
This is a very addicting hobby, but you will just adore it! Can't wait to see your first baby!!! How exciting!!

Jessi , you have come to the right place to learn on the art of reborning I am new to reborning too and I am working on my first reborn as well as taking Lara's class Just Born. Lara is FANTASTIC with her lessons and I am absolutely LOVING it, it's my first class that I am taking. If you can take a class I highly suggest it , I am learning new techniques that has really helped me!! The ladies here are simply wonderful
