Ladies I need your prayers right now. My dad has multi system infections. Pnumonia, UTI, and sepsis. He is looking a little better than he did yesterday, as he was in congestive heart failure. Im worried because they keep dumping fluids on him. So far he has not had to be intubated, or need anything accept o2 for breathing. I am staying in the hospital with him, and have limited internet access. I will get on as I can

Thank you everyone....I really appreciate the prayers for my dad. This morning at 3 am, he went into fluid overload, and started going into respritory arrest. It has taken several hours, but they finally have him breathing better. So glad im staying up at night to watch him. It has been really hard watching him struggle for every breath, because they were dumping so much fluid into him, but now that they have started the Lasix back up, his kidneys are kicking it out. Ive been coming home in the morning, and getting some sleep. It seems like the day time goes better for him, and nighttime is where he has problems. I have not lost my temper (which is very unusual) with the nurses or the doctors. I think staying up there with him in his room has actually helped me with that. Im not just going up to check on him, and seeing something bad happening. I'm right there....asking questions, being his voice, comforting him, and frequently visiting the chapel. It has been 2 years since he has had to be hospitalized, and this stay has been much better on my nerves. Thank you all again for keeping us in your prayers....keep it up, They are working!!!! angelsmiley
