I have joined many groups over the years but this group has made me feel very welcome. I have only been here a short time but everyone is right there posting for each other and very friendly. I just wanted to say Thank you!

It is very nice to socialize with other people who have a passion for something I love to do. Where I live...there is no one to talk to about the "reborn process". I am amazed by the interest in the dolls I have made (and they are very novice) but I long for feedback and conversation with other reborn artists. Thanks for being here...and listening!!

It is a wonderful forum. Everyone is so supportive and helpful! I haven't been around as much as I would have liked but I do enjoy being here. Lara has always, since I first met her...been one of the sweetest people. It's a pleasure to be around her!

Deb, That is really just so wonderful to hear!!! I know that some of the gals here have really made very close friends in the short time that we have been open. It really does feel like family. We have been there to cheer each other on, to comfort during hard times, and to support and help each other by sharing techniques and references. I really hope that everyone finds what they are looking for when they come here.
Anyone who knows me or any of the mods will know that we are open, honest and always welcome to new ideas, suggestions, criticism, and of course praise! Whatever it takes to make you guys have fun, and enjoy learning more about this incredible love we all have.
It's the people here that make this place so wonderful. I know that last year I was going through a very rough family time. It was right around the time that BB forum was closing down. It was tough to know where to go or who to turn to. Sometimes you just don't have face to face friends that you can really talk to. I had made quite a few friends from BB that I had kept in touch with and was very thankful for their friendship and support. I was sad to see how BB forum had changed over the years. The close knot "family" feel was gone. There were sooo many people. Most coming to sell or scam...so many new rules. I felt bad for Nevin trying to keep it all together. I hope that REAL can keep that small close family feel. I never want to loose that. I want everyone to feel at home and welcome here...whether you take class or not....whether you have reborned hundreds of dolls or are scared to start your firt...whether you reborn or sew or have some other special gift...I hope you all feel welcome. Thanks for the post!!!

Thanks so much everyone! I really do feel welcome here. I am truly looking forward to getting to know eveyone better. There is nobody where I live to talk reborn talk to either. Alot of people here think it is creepy so it is great to talk with people who have a true love for reborning.

I don't have the time (and sometimes I just don't feel well enough) to read and post as much as I would like to, but even when I've been gone a while, I still feel like I'm part of this group and I always feel welcome here. This is a great forum!

you lady's are all right as this is a home for me as well I love being a moderator and I love to help when ever I can ... its so nice getting to know everyone ... I'm one of those people that stay's in the background most of the time and I always always read the post ... I'm not the most talktive person here but I do read and this place is home to me .... so glad that its not like others that I have joined lol.... Thank you again to Lara for having one of the best places to come to and for being the best teacher out there .... it always amazes me the work you create.......... sherrie
